Any Day Privacy Policy

General

Except for data collected by Apple, such as when you have enabled Share with Developers, I do not collect any data. No personal information, usage data or any other information is collected — nothing.

There is no Any Day account and no Any Day server. The app does not ask you to sign in, and there is nowhere for your countdowns to be sent.

Your countdowns

The events you add — their titles, dates, categories, time zones and reminders — are stored on your device.

If you have iCloud enabled, they also sync between your own devices through your private iCloud database, so the same countdowns appear on each of them. That data lives in your iCloud account. I have no access to it and no way to read it.

Reminders

Reminders are local notifications, scheduled on your device and delivered by iOS. Nothing is sent to a server, and there are no push notifications.

The app asks for notification permission the first time you actually place a reminder, not when you first open it. If you decline, everything else keeps working.

Widgets, Live Activities and Siri

Widgets, the Lock Screen widget and the Control Center button read the same countdowns from a shared container on your device. Live Activities in the Dynamic Island run entirely on your device with no push tokens involved — nothing about your events leaves the phone to make them tick.

Siri, Spotlight and Shortcuts answer from the same local data. Requests are handled by iOS on your device; I do not receive them.

Purchases

The one-time unlock is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. I never receive or store any payment information. The app only records, on your own device, whether the unlock has been purchased, so widgets can tell. See Apple’s privacy policy for how Apple handles purchase data.

Third-party services

Any Day contains no analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting services, and no advertising identifiers. It does not track you across apps or websites. There are no third-party dependencies in the app at all.

This policy does not apply to third-party services you use elsewhere. You can consult the relevant privacy policies on the websites of any services you are using.

Deleting your data

• Remove one countdown — delete it in the app. Nothing is auto-deleted or auto-archived; removing an event is always something you do deliberately.
• Remove everything — delete the app. To remove the synced copy as well, use iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page with a new date.
